The cybersecurity experts at our HKT Next Generation Security Operations Center (NG SOC) have won the “Boss of the SOC” (BOTS) title hosted by Splunk Hong Kong for the third consecutive year. This prestigious industry award recognizes outstanding expertise and professionalism and ensuring we remain the “boss” in combating cyber attacks for our customers by relentlessly staying up-to-date with the latest technology and trends. But that is not all. In addition to the award, the team have also achieved a lot more.
 
HKT NG SOC team’s achievements:
1. Managing and resolving over 1,800 cyber incidents – a 50% increase on last year – despite the challenges   presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

2. Obtaining more than 200 professional certifications across all aspects of cybersecurity, including GCFA, GCFA, GPEN, GCIH, GCFE, GCTI, GNFA, GWAFT, GICSP, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, MS Azure Security Technologies.

3. Engaging in more than 4,000 hours of intensive training year on year from renowned cybersecurity training organizations, and receiving dedicated certification training from various cybersecurity manufacturers and vendors as well as cloud service providers.
